Bring your friends and family to join us after the 9 holes for dinner and activities. There will be the longest drive and closest pin contests, lots of yard games for all ages, and giveaways and prizes! Dinner is included for each golfer, and extra dinner tickets are $30/guest.

Scout Me In Golf Tournament, Sept. 14, 2019

*A notice will be created on this website the day of the event by 2:00 PM if the event should be cancelled due to inclement weather. In the event of a weekend rain-out, vouchers will be sent out to every golfer to play a free round at Blackthorne.
Information
• The golf tournament will be a scramble and the winning foursome will receive a prize.
• Golf contests (longest drive and closest to the pin) will be played during the scramble.
• Each golfer will have dinner included, but we encourage you to purchase additional dinner tickets for spouses, family, and friends to join the evening activities and fun!
• Dinner will be a Boy Scout Food Fair with a variety of grilled and picnic-style foods. This is a BYOB event, non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

Schedule
3:00 PM – Arrive by this time to sign in and get golf tournament details
3:30 PM – Shotgun start at designated hole
5:30 PM – Dinner and Evening activities begin (yard games, golf contests, etc.)
8:30 PM – Evening concludes

The Dinner Sponsorship price covers the cost of your four-man scramble and 4 dinner tickets. This sponsorship also includes an introduction at dinner, a prominently displayed dinner sign, and one tee sign.
Golf Package Sponsor $750
Golf Cart Sponsor $500
The Golf Cart Sponsorship price includes a decal of your name on the side of the Golf Carts and four dinner tickets.
Clubhouse Hole in One Sponsor $300
The Clubhouse Hole in One Sponsorship will receive an endorsement at dinner with a nicely sized placard.
Door Prize Sponsor $300
Longest Drive / Closest to Pin Sponsor $250
The Longest Drive / Closest to Pin Sponsorship price includes a prominent sign at the hole and an introduction during dinner.
Tee Sign $125
Tee Sign Sponsorship includes a nice sign to be displayed at one of the nine holes.
Gift Basket Sponsor $100
The Gift Basket Sponsor is responsible for creating a basket for the Auction (suggested value is $100) and will receive an endorsement at dinner with a nicely sized placard.

About Blackthorne
The Club at Blackthorne is a Residential Golf Course Community that’s constantly growing. Situated in the rolling hills of Westmoreland County with the beautiful Chestnut Ridge in the distance, this 9 Hole golf course boasts an elegant design by the Arnold Palmer Course Design Co.
The course opened for play in June of 2005, and is slated to become an 18 Hole, Par 71 golf course measuring 6,750 yards from the Championship Tees. From the Black Tees, the current USGA Course Rating is 68.4 with a Slope Rating of 135. All your playing skills will be tested as you maneuver through a variety of terrains; fescue-outlined holes with bent grass fairways, picturesque elevation changes, and several natural obstacles.
Don’t forget to steer clear of our 30 massive bunkers, and experience “putting perfection” on our immaculate sand-based bent grass USGA greens, which feature: multi-tiered landing areas, sloping ridges, and plenty of speed and movement.
